Elon Musk has signed a deal with AI giant Anthropic to meet the AI Claude software demands. This deal will develop more modern AI systems as more clients are using AI coding tools. This announcement came when Anthropic held a developer day and introduced a new feature called dreaming that aids in reviewing work and spotting patterns.
Elon Musk had first slammed the company, but Elon Musk said that he spent time with the senior workforce at Anthropic and planned to lease Colossus 1 after ensuring that Claude would work well for humanity.
Anthropic is going to use the complete computing power of the Colossus 1 facility in Tennessee, which will offer the Claude chatbot maker 300 megawatts of new capacity. This agreement provides IPO-bound SpaceX an opportunity to sell investors on its AI ambitions. Anthropic, with SpaceX, will build multiple gigawatts of AI compute capacity. Data centers are one of the primary goals of SpaceX and are a major driver behind the IPO of SpaceX.
