Bengaluru-based Giant company has bagged three big deals valued at $325 million. This deal emphasizes AI-led transformation, vendor consolidation, and optimisation of costs. The biggest deal is with Volvo Cars worth $170 million. Half of the deal involves existing engagement consolidation, while the rest includes net-new business. SAP platform modernisation and broader digital transformation are part of this deal.
Infosys will play a strategic role in deploying AI-led services to reduce expenses and streamline the business processes of the Volvo company. HCLTech already has a strategic partnership with Volvo Cars that caters to its end-to-end engineering solutions.
Infosys has also won a contract from the Finnish engineering company, Valmet, that is worth $100 million. Infosys role would be to enable closer alignment between business and IT operations and enhance the operational efficiency of the Valmet company. Also, Hong Kong Jockey Club, the horse racing and betting firm, has signed a $51 million deal with Infosys. Infosys is shifting its role from a conventional IT service provider to a strategic transformation partner. These three deals for Infosys show growing client demand for transformation programmes that blend AI-driven innovation and platform modernisation along with operational efficiency.
