Attorney General of Tennessee says that it has violated the safety rules of the Tennessee state.
The allegation says that Meta has created a product that has provoked youngsters, highlighting the dangers Instagram poses to youngsters, which has not been published publicly. CEO Mark Zuckerberg was informed about this matter. Even Mark Zuckerberg has failed to offer funding for efforts to mitigate the harm. This platform is misleading the public due to the harmful content on Instagram. Tennessee Attorney General is asking for a fine against Meta and demanding the required changes to Instagram.
Reuters states that the Tennessee state allegations are based on content posted by Instagram users. Section 230 of the US Communications Decency Act offers protection from legal liability for harmful content posted by third parties.
